Name: Oswalt Macario
Nationality: Portuguese and English
Birthplace: Detroit, Michigan
Reputation:
Ex-Gunslinger/Bounty Hunter. Now a US Marshal
Age: 56
Religion: Baptist
Body Type: Wide shoulders but otherwise very thin. Taller than average, and avoids walking with a stoop the way many men his age choose to.
Origins: Oswalt was born the son of a Banker in Detroit., but the man was quickly run out of town for his use of "Wildcat Banking." So much of Oswalt's early life was spent going from city to city, spending a little under two years in each. By the time he was thirteen, he'd already shot a pursuer with a shotgun as his family fled Kansas City, and had a small bounty on his head. He left his family at nineteen, and one of his first actions was to return and pay his bounty, which had since lowered to one-hundred and thirteen dollars.
Under the behest of the sheriff of Kansas city, he took up bounty hunting, and became a small time hero to the city, who'd shockingly forgotten his involvement in the murder of a man who'd lost all his money. Eventually, he became a bit too well known, and if a criminal happened to stop in town, he attempted to find and duel Oswalt the swift. After he'd killed a deal of them, and been shot a few times, he decided he needed to disappear.
He spent a few years as a rancher, but quickly developed from guiding the cattle to protecting the other ranchers from any outlaws they came across. After a few years at this, he bought his own ranch, and decided he'd grow old, with the money from his days as a bounty hunter paying other men to make him money. One night, however, a group of bandits burned his ranch.
He spent a year hunting the men down, coordinating with Sheriffs and Marshals along the way. When the last was hung, one of the Marshalls told him he should become a Marshall, and having no obligations to turn to, and his savings being burned away, he became one a year later.
